What have you been praying for lately?
Or what might you want to pray for, but have not been game to do so?
Or perhaps you have thought that it is a request that is not the right thing to ask God for.
Conversation with God not only draws us closer to God, but also then helps us to see God’s world from his perspective, which means seeing the needs of other people as well. We pray in all types of situations in which we find ourselves. We pray for family and friends and our Christian brothers and sisters. Prayer expresses our dependence and reliance upon God as well as our dependence and interdependence on each other. Prayer is a confession of the unity that we have together with God and each other.
May our conversations with God continue to be oftener and deeper, passionate, persistent and specific.
