Epiphany is the season of Jesus being revealed. He is revealed in many many ways. Today we consider how he is revealed in the may ways that his people serve – each one using the gifts given by God’s Holy Spirit. It’s good for us to recognise in each other the different ways that Jesus is being revealed in and through us all. It’s no accident that different people are gifted in different ways. It’s all part of God’s planning and purposes.
How has God gifted you? How do you use your gifts and abilities to serve the Lord and his purposes in the community?
In today’s Gospel, Jesus’ performs his first miracle – turning water into wine – to bless that marriage celebration.
Let’s look again to the gifts of God’s Spirit and seek his guidance as to how he wants us to use these gifts for the sake of the Kingdom of God.
