Let nothing trip you on the way – that’s our theme today. Remember that as Christians our journey in life is not about walking wherever we please, but walking through life as followers of Jesus, who is the Way and the Truth and the Life.
On the journey of faith, we must be careful not to put stumbling blocks before others, especially little ones. And we must keep watch over ourselves, so that we don’t stumble and fall in the temptations that come to us. For those without faith the cross of Jesus is a stumbling block, but for us who believe it is the bridge of salvation that takes us over pitfalls and stumbling blocks into the realm where we can walk free and new, and where we can run the race that is set before us.
As it says in Hebrews 12, Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
