And if you resonate with the philosophy behind the advertisement, don’t you like the idea of keeping on keeping on and not getting tired. But who are we trying to fool when we go down that path. We can only but try. To much can go wrong – never mind the changing seasons and passing years. I wish I could keep on doing what I like to do – from loving, serving and giving, to running, digging and climbing. We human beings, we are not the perfect rechargeable device we would like to be. But I can tell you who is and what it is about him that never runs dry.
It’s the Lord. The Lord whose steadfast love and kindness never fails.
The Lord whose promises aways remain. The Lord who has invited us into himself so that even when these earthly lives come to an end, His love and life present in us will never fail. He will keep on giving into our lives and the lives of all those he loves. He will keep on loving all of His creation despite us. He will continue to forgive; to do new things; to create new opportunities for us to live and love and serve as his loving energised presence in the world!
