“Nothing lasts forever.” Have you ever had that said to you? It’s sometimes said at a time of loss – when something goes wrong or things seem to be leaving us.
Perhaps we need to be more active in reminding each other, as people who have faith in the Son of God – “you and I have eternal life”. Our everyday 24/7 lives are lived in the context of God’s eternal plan.
All God’s people have this extra-ordinary gift of eternal life.
This is God’s gift to you and to me and to every person through the ages who place their faith and their hope in the Lord. We have this hope. Both are well placed. Because of this faith, we have eternal life!
